Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Electrolux Dryer.
Filter Maintenance
Clean the filters at the end of each drying program to ensure optimal functionality. Use a damp cloth to remove any accumulated fluff. Regular cleaning prevents excessive drying times and high electricity consumption.
Cleaning the Drum
To ensure your laundry reaches the desired degree of dryness, clean the inside of the drum with a cloth soaked in white vinegar. This helps eliminate residues from detergents and softeners, which can form a patina obstructing the sensors.
Condenser Unit Cleaning
When the Condenser light is illuminated, it indicates that the condenser must be cleaned. Regular cleaning prevents lint build-up, ensuring efficient drying cycles.
Air Intake Grille Maintenance
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove fluff from the air intake grille located at the back of the appliance. This helps maintain optimal airflow and dryer performance.
Door Seal and Filter Maintenance
Periodically clean the interior part of the door to remove fluff from the seals around the filter. This ensures effective drying by maintaining a proper seal.
